"Choices"

Although many people believe this to be one of the safest sports in the world, we would like to state that YOU are taking a chance every time you fly just as you do when driving car.
Statistically speaking, flying is much safer than driving, however, you must be aware of your environment, equipment and your capabilities as a pilot.  We at US Paragliding, Apogee Paragliding and any persons representing the companies listed are not liable for your choices, bodily injury, property damage and/or even death.
If we provide you with basic information or even referrals to other instructors, equipment or insurance in your country or state we are doing so out of professionalism and our love for the sport.
If we refer an instructor that is closer to you and you dislike that person WE are not liable.  It is your choice to pick or decide which equipment or instructor you will finally go with.  Many people do not want to travel so we may recommend a local instructor who also sells equipment.  Due to the fact of the litigious nature of the world today we must state many facts that most people intelligent enough to research paragliding already know.
You have a choice to obtain insurance before learning to fly.  We recommend even a supplemental insurance in case you sprain an ankle and miss work. Some us have chosen AFLAC insurance.
You have a choice to not fly if you feel it is too much risk for you.  Do your research, ask questions and go on a tandem flight if you have fear of flying then decide to invest in good safe equipment and a good or well known instructor.

When you decide you want to fly, you are taking your life and personal health into your own hands.  You must respect power lines, trees, propeller, other pilots, and kamikaze birds.  Just kidding on the birds, but we have heard a lady was attacked by an eagle one time.

If you have any questions feel free to email or call.

Fly Safe,

Return Policy

We will take returns but we reserve the right to deny them.  If you fail to obtain instruction and damage the equipment, no returns will be made available.  If you become too afraid to fly and change your mind we will accept UNopened or unused equipment.   Our return policy requires a 15% re-stock fee and shipping cost.   This is a flying machine-a portable airplane, if you will.  Meaning, we are in many cases putting this craft together on special order.   Please also note due to the need for lighter weight 99% of all powered paragliding equipment is of two stroke engine design.  If you do not mix oil correctly or obtain engine care training you can damage your engine.  If we decide to take a return on equipment that has been started or used then a larger restock fee may be implemented.  Most people do not change their mind, so if you do, we might recommend you sell your equipment outright, however, the warranty on the engines will not transfer.  But you may be able to minimize any loss due to the fact our equipment holds its value quite well.
